There has been serenity today the 11th of March 2023 in the Northwest and Southwest Regions of Cameroon due to a lockdown called by the separatist fighters . This lockdown was proclaimed because of the Senatorial elections that was to take place .
Even though the said lockdown was called off, Bamenda in the Northwest still observed it for fear of the military aggressiveness. and brutality says a resident of Bamenda. Military was seen parading the deserted streets.
