Pan African Forum Petition Paul Biya To The ICC
The Cameroon government is currently facing significant scrutiny due to allegations of human rights abuses . The Pan African Forum has reportedly submitted a petition to the International Criminal Court (ICC) against President Paul Biya for alleged crimes against humanity in the Anglophone regions of Cameroon. This complaint arises amidst ongoing violent conflicts, particularly between the government and separatist groups from the English-speaking minority, which have resulted in over 30,000 deaths since the conflict began in 2016. The ongoing conflict has had devastating effects on communities, particularly on children and education.
