CATHOLIC PRIEST LEAD PROTEST TO THE SDO's OFFICE IN NDOP NORTH WEST REGION
On Friday the 12th of January 2024, a Catholic priest of Saint Peter and Paul parish Bamunka Ndop demonstrated the power of dialogue by leading a protesting delegation of interdenominational Christians to see the Senior Divisional officer (SDO) about his actions of threatening shop owners to open their shops on Monday's which has been respected as a ghost town day in the Northwest and Southwest Regions of Cameroon in remembrance of the thousand of anglophones who lost their lives in the hands of the Cameroon military, also the SDO sealed shops and collected moto bikes from bike owners who refused to boycott ghost town which lead to roads being blocked by the separatist fighters. The spokesman who channeled the grievances of the angry protesters to the SDO was the Rev Father.
