THREE WEST AFRICAN NATIONS QUIT ECOWAS

In a surprising turn of events, Burkina Faso, Niger, and Mali have recently announced their withdrawal from the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). This decision, described by the three nations as a "sovereign choice," has sent shockwaves through the region, as these countries play a crucial role in the economic and political landscape of West Africa. ECOWAS, established in 1975 to foster economic integration among its 15 member states, has faced a setback with the departure of these nations. The move comes amidst the suspension of Burkina Faso, Niger, and Mali from ECOWAS following military coups in their respective countries. CAMEROON MILITARY MAY BE INVOLVED IN WAR CRIMES

As the war in the English speaking zone of Cameroon continues, the population keep living in fear for what can happen at any time. Several war crimes keeps being committed by the military like burning down of schools, burning down of hospitals, burning down of villages, public execution of separatist fighters even when the have been arrested and the government is yet to call any of the forces to order. Most military men don't know anything about war crimes or have kept on committing them with so much impunity because they know  no one is going to go down for all the crimes.  A disturbing video recently surface online where the military storm a private hospital in the north west region of Cameroon and pick up a separatist fighter who was recieving treatment at the hospital after obtaining bullet wounds from an earlier confrontation with the military. OTHERS JAILED FOR SPEAKING OUT IN CAMEROON. WILL THAT BE SAME FOR PRESIDENTS DAUGHTER BRENDA BIYA?

The daughter of the president of the Republic of Cameroon by name Brenda Biya went to her social media account and posted a controversial video in which she said: "People talk down at rebels and think being rebellious is wrong and they do not realize that some of the world heroes were rebels because it takes a whole person to stand up against an oppressive system that is unfairly treating other people". In the video, she cited names of certain heroes who have stood and fought against oppressive regimes at the detriment of their lives.  This video has kept many Cameroonians talking because it is unclear who Brenda Biya was addressing. CATHOLIC PRIEST LEAD PROTEST TO THE SDO's OFFICE IN NDOP NORTH WEST REGION

On Friday the 12th of January 2024, a Catholic priest of Saint Peter and Paul parish Bamunka Ndop demonstrated the power of dialogue by leading a protesting delegation of interdenominational Christians to see the Senior Divisional officer (SDO) about his actions of threatening shop owners to open their shops on Monday's which has been respected as a ghost town day in the Northwest and Southwest Regions of Cameroon in remembrance of the thousand of anglophones who lost their lives in the hands of the Cameroon military, also the SDO sealed shops and collected moto bikes from bike owners who refused to boycott ghost town which lead to roads being blocked by the separatist fighters. The spokesman who channeled the grievances of the angry protesters to the SDO was the Rev Father. SOUTH AFRICA HAS SUE ISREAL FOR A CRIME OF GENOCIDE IN GAZA

On February 2nd, 2023, South Africa filed a historic lawsuit against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). The lawsuit alleges violations of human rights and accuses Israel of committing genocide against the Palestinian people. This complex legal and human rights drama has garnered international attention and sparked heated debates across the globe.
