PASTOR CLOSES CHURCH AFTER WINNING 100 MILLION BET
With the church so much in focus on the African continent today most men of God and women of God have time without number fallen short of the same gospel they preach to their followers. A case In time is a Ugandan pastor who have come out publicly and confess to his Christians that God never called him to be poor after winning a 100 million Ugandan shillings from a bet. The pastor openly confess that he opened his ministry as a result of greed than preaching the word of God. The pastor went ahead to shut down the church claiming that it was God’s own way to get him out of poverty. He also claim that running a church without a calling was more of a burden to him. Many Christians have come out to criticize the pastor for focusing more on money than preaching the word of God. The gospel today and most churches in Africa and the world is being commercialized reason why other men of God do not take this as a surprise.
