Miraculously, she entered a period of remission in the subsequent year of 2011, filling her spirit with a glimmer of hope. However, the cruel claws of cancer resurfaced in 2013, forcing her to embark on yet another harrowing journey of treatment. Remarkably, despite the burdensome weight of her illness, Zoleka's unwavering commitment to her advocacy work persevered, continuing to ignite the flames of inspiration within the hearts of countless individuals through her awe-inspiring tale of survival.

Zoleka, in addition to her efforts in creating cancer awareness, was also an ardent supporter of road safety. In the year 2014, she miraculously survived a car crash that inflicted multiple injuries upon her, including a fractured leg and ribs. Following this unfortunate incident, she took up the role of ambassador for the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) in South Africa, dedicating her efforts towards raising awareness about road safety concerns within the nation. The news of Zoleka's demise has triggered an overwhelming wave of sorrow and condolences from people worldwide.

Expressing their deep grief, her family released a heartfelt statement, emphasizing how greatly she will be missed.
