NIGERIAN SENATOR EKWEREMADUS HAS BEEN FOUND GUILTY FOR ORGAN HARVESTING CONSPIRACY

Senator Ike Ekeremadus is a Nigerian wealthy politician who was arrested in 2022 with his wife Ekeremadus Beatrice and  medical "middleman" Dr Obinna Obeta detained and was under investigation for alleged organ harvesting.The senators  25 years old daughter  Sonia Ekeremadus  had a serious kidney condition. So in the quest of looking for a donor, Mr Ike Ekeremadus flew a 21 years old street trader from Lagos Nigeria to Britain to used him as donor for his daughter without the boys concern. It is said that the boy was offered £7000 and promised a better life in Britain. He had no idea that his kidneys were going to be removed and given to the senators daughter. He only discovered at the hospital when the doctor told him that he was not an appropriate donor since he has no idea of the risks of kidney transplant and that he does not have the funds he need for life health care . So the operation was refused. The Ekeremadus then continued the search for a new donor and this was when these 22 year old boy was able to escape and sought help from the police and the senator, wife and doctor were arrested.

On the 23th of March 2023, the parties were found guilty of an organ harvesting plot involving a UK hospital and were given life sentence under the Modern Slavery Law.Even though the boy cannot go back to Nigeria freely but he is excited that he was able to stand up for himself and seek justice.


It is the first time defendants have been convicted under the Modern Slavery Act of an organ harvesting conspiracy.

The senators daughter who had kidney failure wept in court as she was cleared by the jury,which deliberated for nearly 14 hours.
