Cape town (south Africa)

cape town is a port city town found in South Africa. this city is usually known as the country's mother city because it was the first site of the first European settlement in South Africa. the city is known for its harbor of several natural features which are catching the eye like the table mountain and cape point. the new york times and the Daily Telegraph once name cape town the best place to visit.

The city of cape town has a long coastline on the Atlantic Ocean which embodies False Bay. the table mountain national park stretches from the north of cape town down to the cape peninsula.

Stone Town Zanzibar (Tanzania)

Stone Town got its name from the ornate houses built with local stone by Arab traders and slavers during the 19th century. Stone town of Zanzibar is the old part of Zanzibar city which is the main city of Zanzibar in Tanzania. Stone town is located on the western coast of Unguja which is the main island of Zanzibar Archipelago.


Stone town is listed among the UNESCO heritage sites. The many buildings reflect its culture and it has homogenized elements from the African culture, Indian, Arab, and Europe, for over a millennium. Some major buildings here which date right back to the 18th and 19th century include, St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cathedral,  the residence of the slave trader Tippu Tip, the Royal Cemetery, 

Zanzibar is also noted as the town where slave trading was finally terminated.

Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) 

This is the largest city in Tanzania and also the capital of Dar es salaam region. It has grown from a fishing village to a tropical metropolis with over four million people. The buildings here also show a mixture of the old architectural style of British, German and. Asian traditions. Many modernize buildings have been erected including a hospital complex, high court, and educational institutions, like the university of Dar es Salaam. The. Dar es Salaam International Airport also helps to bring in a lot of tourists into the country.

Kigali Rwanda 

Easy largest city phone at the center of wonder and it is also the capital city of awful wonder. Kigali is Rwanda’s economic cultural and transport hub since it got it independent. It harbors a population of about 1,000,000 people. One of the most impressive places to visit in Kigali is the Kigali genocide memorial the museum explains the event that happens in the 1994 Rwandan genocide and gives the consequences many years after and the effect on the development of the country as a whole.

One of the most attractive sites is mount Kigali which can be spotted from anywhere in this city.  Most tourists always take up time to do hiking on this mount for about an hour where a beautiful view of the city's coffee plantation forest and older neighborhoods condition can be seen and appreciated even better  

Victoria Fall, Zambia, and Zimbabwe
This is the largest sheet of falling water in the world. This fall provides a habitat for several species of plants and animals. victoria fall is shared by two countries; to  the south by Zimbabwe and to the north by Zambia




If you are planning to visit victoria fall then the Zimbabwean side will be the best because about 80% of the fall is on the Zimbabwean side. The Zambian side of Victoria Falls has a wonderful craft market where you can bargain for trinkets.

The Great Pyramid at Giza, Egypt
The great pyramids of Egypt are one of the seven wonders of the ancient world and were built in the early 26th century BC during a period of 27 years. the initial height of this pyramid was 146.6 meters and was the tallest man-made structure in the world for more than 3800 years.


The three pyramids of Giza were built as tombs by three kings of ancient Egypt. They were constructed on the Giza plateau during the fourth dynasty of  Ancient Egypt's Old Kingdom by Pharaohs Khufu, his son Khafre, and Menkaure, son of Khafre. Other smaller pyramids can be seen on the Giza plateau. Visitors are actually allowed to go inside the pyramid and have an appreciation of the beauty of this incredible structure.

Fish River Canyon, Namibia

It is the largest canyon in Africa as well as the second largest in the world after the Grand Canyon in the USA and it is also the most visited tourist site in Namibia. It has its source from the eastern part of the Naukluft Mountain and then flows into the Hardap Dam. The Fish River Canyon ends at Ai-Ais and the river then flows into the Orange River, the border to South Africa.


Hiking through River Canyon could be fun but hikers will need to book reservations before time because only 30 people are allowed a day. The trail is only open for hiking between 1st May and 15th September and the minimum number of hikers in a group is 3.

Hoggar Mountains, Algeria

This mountainous region is located about 1,500km south of the capital Algiers. this area has an altitude of 900m to 2,908m. It is composed mainly of metamorphic rocks that are about 2 billion years old. The climatic condition here also supports some vegetation.


Several peaks can be spotted in this area and were formed as a result of erosion wearing away extinct volcanic domes made up of a more resistant material. A tour of this area is catching to the eye. 

Church of Saint George, Ethiopia

The church of saint George is one of the eleven rock-hewn monolithic churches in Lalibela (a town in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia). Originally named Roha or Warwar, this historical and religious site is currently accepted in the modern name of Lalibela, after King Gebre Mesqel Lalibela of Ethiopia, who is regarded as a saint by the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. 




The stone was carved from a type of limestone called tufa. This church has been dated back to the 12th or 13th century AD. Pilgrims who died after reaching the site are placed in a simple open tomb on the outer walls. the hollow interior contains a shrine to St. George and also present is the replica of the Art of the covenant.

Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park, Madagascar

This national park is located in the Melaky region, northwest  Madagascar. This mind-blowing 583 Kilometer square park lies on the western coast of Madagascar and derives its name from the Malagasy word Tsingy, meaning, ‘’where one cannot walk barefoot, or walk on tiptoes’’.
This park was declared a UNESCO heritage site in 1990.
