 In South Africa, a church in Durban called the Nazareth Baptist church held its annual virginity test on Tuesday the 05th of July 2022, on female church members who are above the age of 18 years old So those who completed the testing were given a white mark on their foreheads and a certificate of virginity as proof that they have passed the test and are still virgins.

 The famous Cameroon female footballer and captain of the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon Gaelle Enganamouit who was alleged to be practicing lesbianism after she announced her resignation  has taken to social media to apologize to Cameroonians in her words..."Cameroonian people I admit to having dishonored you, I appeal to your mercy. Everyone makes mistakes no one is perfect nor holy. I know through this act my career, my life, my passion in football has to finish".   It is of great importance that Gealle Enganamouit announced her resignation on the 04th of November 2021, from the national team on the grounds of a threat from the president of the Cameroon football federation at that time by name  Seidou Mbombo Njoya. This apology has come with some critics and acknowledgments from many Cameroonians.
