Nigerian lawyer, Bolanle Raheem, shot dead by a police officer on Christmas Day

 A Nigerian lawyer, Bolanle Raheem, has unfortunately been shot and killed by a policeman attached to the Ajah Police State in Lagos on Christmas day, December 25

The deceased and her family were coming from a restaurant in their car around 11am when the policeman tried to stop them.



Eyewitnesses said the deceased was trying to make a U-turn under Ajah Bridge when the officer opened fire at her car. Sadly, the bullet hit the deceased and she was rushed to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

In reaction to the tragic incident, the Nigerian Bar Association has called for the immediate prosecution of the trigger-happy police officer.
