  A Boy who is 22-years of age has reportedly killed his father in Bandjoun, West Region of Cameroon for refusing to give him Christmas money. The  incident occurred  in Badjoun, West region  on the 25th of December where a  young man had requested some money from his father to spend on Christmas Day.  The father refused forcing the 22 year old out of anger to hit him with a big stone on the back of his head,  He  felt and died instantly The young man later transporting his father’s corpse from the compound to the bathroom, took his wallet and went out to have fun with his friends. Family members thought the Father had died in his sleep but after taking him to the hospital, medical reports showed that he was hit behind his head.

  A Nigerian lawyer,  Bolanle Raheem , has unfortunately been shot and killed by a policeman attached to the Ajah Police State in Lagos on Christmas day, December 25 The deceased and her family were coming from a restaurant in their car around 11am when the policeman tried to stop them. Eyewitnesses said the deceased was trying to make a U-turn under Ajah Bridge when the officer opened fire at her car. Sadly, the bullet hit the deceased and she was rushed to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. In reaction to the tragic incident, the Nigerian Bar Association has called for the immediate prosecution of the trigger-happy police officer.
