As the Queen is no more, operation London Bridge has begun. So once the London bridge is down, the Queen's private secretary Sir Edward Young will be responsible for informing the prime minister of Britain before the information is released to the 15 other countries where the Queen is head of state and the rest of the 36 commonwealth nations.

The first time the public became aware of her death was when a notice was placed on the gate of Buckingham palace, all staff wore a black armband on the left arm, which must measure three and a quarter inches wide.

Premier leagues, horse races, and other sporting activities have been postponed. 

A statement was then released to the press association and other news outlets. At this point, main tv channels stopped their regular programs and started to broadcast the life of the Queen. Journalists on air then saw a blue flash which means to cut to the news immediately and blanket coverage then began.

As the Queen is dead, Prince Charles is now the King. He was expected to choose his name and is now  King Charles the lll. 

Her Royal Majesty's corps will be laid in Batmol for 24 hours for all the servants to pay their last respect.

There will be an expected 10 days between the Queen's death and her funeral during this time her body will remain at Buckingham palace so the family can spend time together.

On the day of the funeral, the country will be given a national day of mourning including the stock market and Big Ben will chime at 9am on that day.

The crown jewel will be clean that morning before the coffin arrives at Westminster Abby at 11 am, and the country will fall silent.
