Cameroon: Abandoned baby rescued by soldiers in Mbengwi (Video)

A newborn baby who was abandoned was  discovered and rescued on Friday, September 2 around the Mbengwi Grand Stand, North West region of Cameroon 

The baby's cries in the bush alerted a group of soldiers on patrol on Friday, September 2, 2022.



 The baby was wrapped in a piece of cloth, then in a polythene bag, and dumped in the bush allegedly by the mother.

The baby was immediately rushed to the Mbengwi district hospital and is responding to medical care. 

The mother of the baby girl is still on the run.
