STRIKE CALLED OFF BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE MEDICAL AND SANITARY PERSONNELS

The national union of medical and sanitary personnel's (synpems) and the national union of establishment in the health sector(cap Sante) has granted the Cameroon government to find lasting solutions to their problems. This was done by the president of synpems through a communique today the 16th of August 2022, calling off the strike which they had declared through out the national territory.

This communique states  that the unionist are thereby calling off the strike and giving the minister of health six months that is from today the 16th of August 2022 to the 31 of December 2022 to attend to their needs.

But this action by the president of synpems has caused alot of rejection from some of these unionist who are not happy with the long time frame of action given by the president and are demanding for a period of four months to be given to the government.

They came out with placards at the ministry of public health in the capital city of Yaounde, Cameroon demanding for more human treatment of temporal and percurous  workers while waiting for the desired results which are ; claiming unpaid balances, promotion dues, family allowances, pay backs and more.
